How does the trinity belief make sense?

Astrid1:

The Trinity is like a Father Who is also a Husband, Who is also a Son. In this analogy, God is compared to a man. A man might be a father to his children, a husband to his wife, and son to his parents. He can even be all three at the same time. Source

Welcome To Questioncove The trinity is The father (i think meaning god) The son ( meaning Jesus) The holy spirit

Floo:

The trinity makes no sense to a person capable of logical thinking. How can Christianity be a monotheistic religion when it revolves around a "trinity". Which literally means three. The father, the son, and the holy spirit. Strictly through an academic perspective, this seems to be a fallacy in and of itself. How can one with sound mind believe three to be one? When the teachings of the trinity are taught to an outside figure who has never heard of Christianity and its teachings they would conclude the religion to be polytheistic. Which would indeed be a sound inference to make. The doctrine of the holy trinity states that there is one God who exists in "three" persons. The God, father, and son. Of course, the slightly more educated Christians would argue that not all three sects of the trinity are God there is only "one" God. He has only been dived into three sects. Only one of which is divine. That distinction is faulty as well because now they admit that their God is in fact limitless which means they contain human characteristics. How can a celestial heavenly being have a birth date that is celebrated by all Christians all around the world? So stop whitewashing the basic understanding of monotheism and comprehend that even though this is preached to be monotheistic religion all bias aside it would fall under a polytheistic. When they claim that the holy spirit and Jesus are not God that is considered heretical by Trinitarians orthodox Christian individuals. In a trinity which again means "three", each end would equal 33.3% of the entire whole. This means each end of the trinity holds exactly the same amount of power as the remainder of the ends harbor. So what I am basically saying is no part of the trinity is more powerful than the rest because as a "whole" they are needed to make that 100%. If one end was lacking the slightest percentage the Christians would have part of a God. Instead of a whole God. Of course, then the issue of having three all-powerful deities comes forth.

@hero the floor is yours if you are capable of answering the question

Lemondragon555:

The Trinity makes since it helps Christians to understand the complex nature of God. The belief in The Trinity is a central doctrine of Christianity. The three persons of the Trinity teach Christians better about the nature of God and the roles he plays.

wrong.

Aliciaa:

It is simple, because it shows the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit in their unity and in the relations revealed by their action of salvation on behalf of humankind. The Trinity is a mystery of communion. “You see the Trinity if you see charity” Matthew 28:19 - Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: (meaning trinity
