How did African Americans' slave quarters contribute in helping them build family ties and traditions? The huts were built around a shared space with a fire for cooking which allowed many families to be together and share ideas. African American men and boys would build the houses together, and they would share stories and traditions during the construction. African American slave quarters were just one big log home that they all shared which allowed the families to build strong bonds together. The huts were built far away from each other, so many families would visit and stay together for several days at a time and build strong bonds.
Am i right with A?

@tetsxpreme
Yeah, I think you're right because, B, C, and D are all about building huts for family staying over, or and sharing stories and bonding. But A shows that they would share ideas which could possibly help make more traditions or maybe even that its self is a tradition. I could be wrong because I feel a little bit like I could be wrong but I might be right but I'm not sure.
I am not sure about this question, but I did find an external source that might give some hints. https://www.encyclopedia.com/humanities/applied-and-social-sciences-magazines/slave-quarters The source cites evidence of "small log houses coated with a plaster made of mud and other materials..." as well as structures that seem to reflect the architectural traditions of West Africa, e.g. huts with thatched roofs arranged in a circular formation around the master's dwelling. That being said, it's not clear to me which answer this evidence points towards most strongly. I'm not very knowledgeable on this subject
oh thats fine
ig ill check it out
@tetsxpreme any idea?
A. The huts were built around a shared space with a fire for cooking which allowed many families to be together and share ideas. B. African American men and boys would build the houses together, and they would share stories and traditions during the construction. C.African American slave quarters were just one big log home that they all shared which allowed the families to build strong bonds together. D. The huts were built far away from each other, so many families would visit and stay together for several days at a time and build strong bonds. Right?
Well D is wrong because they isnt a good way to bond together it will leave empty spaces eventually
yh
And B is just with "mans and boys" And that does not include the whole family
right
so we have a and c
Okay idk if its either C or A but A seems like the best answer
alright thank you
No Problemo
Goodluck :)
