That sounds pretty exciting! While some people might insist that computer science is not a "real science," I think it's a very powerful tool to have access to and, also just an interesting subject with a lot of potential for fun insights and discoveries. If you have no experience with computers, that's ok! If this is going to be your first computer science course, you might start out by learning the background of what a computer is and how they're used. After that, it's likely you'll start learning the basics of some programming language like Python or Java for example. In general, computers behave according to instructions given by humans, but humans and computers don't speak the same language--that's where programming languages come in! For an introductory course, I don't think you should need to do too much studying ahead of time, since you'll go through the basics before covering any difficult topics. Of course, if it's a subject you're interested in, I definitely encourage you to do some learning on your own time. The internet can give you access to lots of good resources! Perhaps it's a bit difficult to know where to start... I think that would depend on your current level of knowledge and also what you'd like to accomplish through your learning. If you have any questions, whether general or specific, I would be happy to help you find out what you need to know :)
