Cyber:

Well first give it your best guess what do you think it is?

Noodlearms:

I honestly don't even have a slight guess

Cyber:

I just realized this is math... What grade?

Noodlearms:

11th

Cyber:

... Yeah sorry I cannot help you with that I'm a great below you but the math class that I'm in apparently has not even gotten that far compared to my friends math classes my math class is still in eighth grade XD. I can suggest some help though

Cyber:

@snowflake0531 could you help this poor man or woman or person don't know with this math problem thank you.

snowflake0531:

for the first screenshot statement 1 is given....

snowflake0531:

statement 2 is by corresponding angles...

snowflake0531:

hopefully you would be able to tell me exactly what parts you're stuck on... and what proofs you've already learned

snowflake0531:

I believe that the statements are straightforward enough.. tell me which numbers you don't know the proof of :)

Noodlearms:

Okay, thank you so much!

Noodlearms:

I don't really understand how to answer any of the questions

snowflake0531:

first look at the first one, I told you the first and second statements' proof, do you understand? it isn't asking you to write a paragraph on each, just a brief statement of proof

Noodlearms:

Yeah, I understand.

snowflake0531:

the third statement would be the same as the second... the statement differences are minimal

Noodlearms:

Ohh, okay.

snowflake0531:

for the fourth statement... a linear pair is two angles that intersect that form 180 degrees... and it's obviously a straight line..

Cyber:

You must give me a lesson LOL

snowflake0531:

for the fifth statement... linear pairs are supplementary angles as long as they are adjacent to one another, which they are in this case

snowflake0531:

the sixth statement is because they are supplementary angles...

snowflake0531:

the seventh is true because angle 2 and angle 3 is supplementary, angle 1 is the same as angle 2... so angle 1 is complementary to angle 3...

darkknight:

ok

*they don't need to be adjacent, sorry

snowflake0531:

for number 8... same thing as earlier, adding to180 means they are supplementary

snowflake0531:

if you have any questions of the first one, ask!
