J4ke:
i'll explain it like this:
a bag of chips cost you 1.25$ and you have two of those a day so the total price of two chips bags each day is 1.25+1.25 or 1.25x2 and there is 365 day in a year so you multiply with the number of days in one year
J4ke:
2.5*365=912.5$
cbfitz46578:
@j4ke wrote:
2.5*365=912.5$
yay, i got it right. I'm glad. ; I am gong to start working on the other one's. If it's not an imposition, when i get my results, could you check them for me?

okay. sorry about that.
J4ke:
I can tell it's getting tricky you only need to focus.
A medium three-item pizza that cost 7.25$ four times a week
You need to find how many weeks are there in a year. there is seven days in every week so we can find the number of weeks in each year simply by dividing the number of days in one year by 7
365/7=52 cool there is 52 weeks a year now
lets find now the price for three-time pizza that cost 7.25$ four times a week
price in one week = 7.25*4=29$
finally, the price for 52 week is 52*29=1508$
J4ke:
i know you get this right but i need you to understand it so you can solve any problem
cbfitz46578:
I really appreciate this. I am aware that it's late-ish (depending upon the times)
I'm glad that you are helping me out.

So, for the income questions, should i just be subtracting off the deductions to get my answer, or is there something else.?
J4ke:
you calculate the sum of the expenses provided and subtract it from the income

tell me what you gonna do exactely
cbfitz46578:
i was planning on adding '$250.00 , '$173.25 , '$71.99 , '$152.70 , '$98.25 , '$120.95 , '$87.50
which i believe equala 1,172, as it's total.
J4ke:
you mean the sum of all of those and subtract it from the income price?
J4ke:
the income value is the budget you have right and you have all these things to pay for so does that make sense?
cbfitz46578:
yes, it does.

ok then continue to the other questions and let me check your caluclations
cbfitz46578:
Though I am questionable because when i subtracted 1172 from 1150 would be -25 off of the income.
J4ke:
no
J4ke:
250+173.25+49.99+95+49.70=617.94
1150-617.94=?
cbfitz46578:
that would be $532.06

i was mixing the different problem together. i realized it after you stated out the actual values.
