TETSXPREME:

Welcome To Questioncove! 1:1:A tendon serves to move the bone or structure. A ligament is a fibrous connective tissue that attaches bone to bone, and usually serves to hold structures together and keep them stable. https://medlineplus.gov/ency/imagepages/19089.htm#:~:text=A%20tendon%20serves%20to%20move,together%20and%20keep%20them%20stable.

TETSXPREME:

2:Arteries (in red) are the blood vessels that deliver blood to the body. Veins (in blue) are the blood vessels that return blood to the heart. Deep veins, located in the center of the leg near the leg bones, are enclosed by muscle. The iliac, femoral, popliteal and tibial (calf) veins are the deep veins in the legs. https://my.clevelandclinic.org/health/articles/17061-blood-vessels-illustrations#:~:text=Arteries%20(in%20red)%20are%20the,deep%20veins%20in%20the%20legs.

A ligament is a fibrous connective tissue and connects bone to bone, while tendons move bone. Ligaments can also keep structures stable as mentioned above.

And the second question, my specialty! Cardiology! Yay! Arteries carry blood away from the heart. Many people think that arteries only carry oxygenated blood. No. That’s not the definition of an artery. What about the pulmonary arteries that connect to the right ventricle and branch inferior to the aorta, genius? Okay, sorry, got carried away a little. Veins carry blood back to the heart. The pulmonary vein typically attaches to the left ventricle as it has oxygenated blood ready for transport via the aorta.

XLynx:

The epidermis is the topmost layer of the skin, while the dermis is the medial layer.

XLynx:

The purpose of the large intestine is to absorb electrolytes and other nutrients that aren’t already absorbed by the stomach’s hydrochloric acid and capillaries and get rid of the waste. The small intestine helps digest food.
