Jaynater:

Why does a portion of those affected by disorders such as ADHD or ASD struggle to function in society normally? Let's assume our subject has both disorders and struggles with Severe ADHD that they've been successfully medicated for it. Let's also assume our subject struggles on a Higher-Function end of ASD called Aspergers, in which they struggle to socially interact with others around them. Let's then, third, assume that our subject has always moved and never stayed in one place, moving around some fourteen times in their sixteen years of development. With that said, let's also assume our subject is 16. Let's say that our subject has always gotten good grades in school, but has never really been able to relate to others after the age of ten, making them feel extremely lonely and have an onset of depression that will affect them throughout development. How does all of this affect their ability to develop in a normal fashion to become functioning member of society?

Jaynater:

I understand this is a bit of a specific and kind of extreme example, but if anybody is willing to discuss and debate this, I'm here. This is a general question I've on my mind.
