Mrs. Moore's class is conducting an experiment to find the probability of pulling certain colors from a bag of 25 marbles. If 6 are purple, 6 are yellow, 3 are green, and the rest are black, what is the probability of drawing 2 black if the marbles are not replaced after they are picked? Show answer as a percent rounded to nearest hundredth, if necessary.

old question, answering to close. consider one black marble at a time. # of black marbles = 25 total - 6 purple - 6 yellow - 3 green = 10 black marbles so the probability of getting the first black marble is 10 black/25 total or simply 10/25 for the second one, there is no replacement, so there are only 9 black marbles out of 24 total marbles, for a probability of 9/24 to get the probability of both, simply multiply (10/25)(9/24), convert to a %, round to 2 decimal places.
