madison999:

the problem is the screenshot

MAGA:

so ur doing ratios?

madison999:

yes

MAGA:

hmmmm. what are the boxes with just one number on them? I never did these type of ratios but I'll help the best I can

madison999:

want a full ss?

MAGA:

yus

xxNezukoxx:

wsp

xxNezukoxx:

The first one goes in number 6,i believe

jhonyy9:

1. 2÷3 = 6÷x than you look on the left side so from 2 how you get 6 ?

jhonyy9:

he/she is off line ok so multiplie by 3 and in this way multiplie the 3 by 3 too and will get for x = 9 hope you understand the way to solve it easy

jhonyy9:

the next one you solve it in this way too 4÷7 = x÷42 so to get from 7 the 42 you need multiplie it by 6 ,yes ? in this way than you multiplie the 4 by 6 you get how many ? so the next two exercises you need solve in this way too

jhonyy9:

questions ?

madison999:

not rlly just when we gonna use this other then school

jhonyy9:

for the next one 2x ÷48 = 3÷12 to get 48 you need multiplie the 12 by how many ?

madison999:

one sec

madison999:

6?

jhonyy9:

why 6 ? 6*12 = 72

madison999:

oh so 3 was correct

jhonyy9:

6*3=18

madison999:

but when u put it into the form

madison999:

this is why i have an IEP

jhonyy9:

3*12 = 36 not 48

madison999:

6 *6 is 48... 2*6 is 18

madison999:

my head hurts

jhonyy9:

6*6 = 36 2*6=12

madison999:

yk what i mean

madison999:

im slow and numbers r hard

jhonyy9:

48 = 12 * ?

madison999:

4

jhonyy9:

yes so you need multiplie the 12 by 4 to get 48 than you multiplie the 3 by 4 how many will get ?

madison999:

16? or 12?

jhonyy9:

3*4 = ?

madison999:

12

jhonyy9:

exactly so the first term on the left part is 2x to get 12 from 2x you need multiplie the 2 by how many ?

madison999:

6

jhonyy9:

perfect

madison999:

whats that math dyslexia called

madison999:

i have that

jhonyy9:

12÷15 = x÷20 x = ?

madison999:

16?

jhonyy9:

\[\frac{ 12 }{ 15 } = \frac{ x }{ 20 }\] so you can write it in this way too and now just you need to solve it for x

madison999:

oh thats so much easier

jhonyy9:

really ?

madison999:

its easier to see and process

jhonyy9:

ok so how you get this 16 ? step by step please

madison999:

2.(12)*(20)=x*(15) 3.15x=240 4.divide by 15 5.x=16

jhonyy9:

@jhonyy9 wrote:

yes correct but in an other way \[\frac{ 12 }{ 15 } = \frac{ 4 }{ 5 }\] simplify by 3 and now look on the right part in denominator there is 20 so to get from 5 this 20 you need multiplie it by 4 and in this way multiplie the numerator by 4 to and will get 4*4=16

jhonyy9:

*o by 4 too

jhonyy9:

do you understand it now ?

madison999:

a bit yea

jhonyy9:

ok welcome

madison999:

i just fee so dumb bc i feel like i should know this bc I'm in 11th and next year is my last year of school yk

jhonyy9:

in 11th ? than you need solve more and more math problems

madison999:

i took algrbra 2 years in a row then gow switched to a math help class for algebra 2 and that didn't help so now I have to learn it myself online

madison999:

its just all confusing the numbers make no sense ion rlly get math but I need to

madison999:

I also have dyscalculia

jhonyy9:

always you need get / know the logic way to solve a math problem yes of cours there are more definitions and rules, formulas what you need learn and use

madison999:

just lemme be a plumber like i wanr lmao lemme get back into working and that's when I do good
