The volume of a cone is equal to 1/3 the area of its circular base multiplied by the height. The area of the circle at the base of the cone is pi multiplied by 12 squared or 144. In order to find the height, we should take the volume (452.4), divide by 144, divide by 3.14, and multiply by 3. The volume of a cylinder is equal to the area of its circular base multiplied by the height. The area of the circle at the base of the cylinder is equal to the volume divided by the height (549.8/7). From the area, we can find the radius of the circle by dividing by pi and taking the square root of the result.
