Some of the drugs used to treat cancer block mitosis. Taxol is a drug commonly used in the treatment of breast and ovarian cancers. It works by disrupting the function of microtubules and spindle fibers. Cells treated with this drug have spindle fibers that are ‘stuck’ in place, unable to pull chromosomes apart. What are some possible problems that a person taking Taxol might have?
stuff like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, mouth sores, muscle/joint pain. or like numbness, tingling, burning of the hands/feet, flushing, dizziness, or even drowsiness may occur bro
They asked before this: Which phase of mitosis would you think that Taxol would affect the most? My answer: Taxol would affect metaphase and anaphase the most. Why do you think it affects that phase the most? Metaphase has the microtubules and anaphase has the chromosomes that are supposed to separate.
u should be good then

To see if it helped
