What is the speed of electricity?

Vocaloid:

Electricity is caused by the flow of electrons. I found a source that states the flow of an average electron through a copper wire to be ~1.2 inches per minute, which is fairly slow, but there's so many electrons that the energy transfer can still be nearly instantaneous due to the constant flow of so many electrons. reference: https://www.uu.edu/dept/physics/scienceguys/2001Nov.cfm#:~:text=In%20the%20case%20of%20a,velocity%20of%20the%20electrons.).
