Arieonna:

@extrinix

TheTiredCat:

Are you still working on this question, or no?

Arieonna:

yes

TheTiredCat:

Okay, well, let's look at the question...what is it specifically asking for?

TheTiredCat:

We're looking for ONE piece of information of something, and it has to help someone source it later on.

TheTiredCat:

With that, what answers can we rule out/get rid of?

Arieonna:

A?

TheTiredCat:

No.

TheTiredCat:

Because it has to be something bibliographic.

TheTiredCat:

Questions about the source wouldn't be it, because they aren't directly apart of the source. Ideas for more research wouldn't be it, since it could be ideas about anything--not just the bibliography.

TheTiredCat:

So...between A and B, what can you rule out about the two? Which one could be used as a way to help research and site the source of?

Arieonna:

B

TheTiredCat:

And why do you think that? Also explain your reasoning about A, too.

TheTiredCat:

Besides, I cannot tell you the answer--otherwise, you won't learn on your own. However, I've helped you rule out two catagories.

Arieonna:

well i think A because you might be needing to have the date the source was created to find the source

TheTiredCat:

Exactly. And do you know the reason why we ruled out B?

Arieonna:

I really don't know why B might be an answer because i was on brainly and someone also said B as an answer and someone in the comments said it was wrong

TheTiredCat:

It's because the quote could've been said from them, from a DIFFERENT source. Meanwhile, a date is significantly different as it is it's own piece of unique information within an article.

TheTiredCat:

And you should only look at those kinds of things when it's something such as a worksheet, because I've learned some teachers are a bit lazy and will use other peoples' pre-made worksheets as a form of work for the students. Easy way out, I'd say--but only do it when needed--otherwise you won't learn much.

Arieonna:

ok what does that have to do with this cause i never learned this stuft i am now on remote learning and things are getting hard for me

What it has to do with this stuff is that certain things like this, where it's on a website, isn't the same as a worksheet--things such as the internet and such don't really have access to one another as much as a printed sheet of paper and a set of pre-written answers do. It's best to simply try to work these things out, just as me and you did, rather than try to find the answers online on your own when there's more than one side of an answer--as for written worksheets? those are made by one person alone--not as a website where there are an infinite amount of custom questions with infinite amount of answers. therefore, you'd only have a 25-50% chance of getting the right answer when the question originates online, rather than on a worksheet. as for looking answers up, if you truly have to and can't get assistance here, i'd suggest using key words of what KIND of work in english (or anything else) of what you're doing. ex: i'm currently working irl on Stoichiometry--a subgenre for Chemistry. (but seriously i am right now)

TheTiredCat:

and if things are getting hard for you, i advise to talk to your counselor and teacher(s) about it--they can try to help you, and if they don't, bring it up with your family and explain your concerns. if they "don't care" or "just don't do it, anyways", then try to bring it up with an official, such as a principal or a school officer, and try to seek assistance and such. if you're struggling in multiple classes and can't keep up, you may have some unattended issues--in that case, i suggest talking to your doctor to see an out-of-school therapist to help deal with these struggles, and try to get an IEP (Individualized Education Plan) for school (i have one). i was in the same boat--it's alright though ^^

Arieonna:

so would B be my answer

TheTiredCat:

Lol no--A would. Although I'm not even supposed to tell you, anyways. But again...try to talk to people about these things. you're not alone, okay? And if you get stuck, I'm sure I can try to find time to help you out lol.

Arieonna:

thx

TheTiredCat:

of course ^^ and ty for the metal.
