Yes what "2kayaa" said: Some examples could be how whites and colored people went to different schools, had different water fountains, and had less of an advantage unlike the white people did. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr, was the person to stop that though, the police chief (I don't remember his name, sorry) put him in jail and I believe it was wife who called the white house and reached the president (at the time it was Jhon F Kenedy) and he found this unbelievable and found out what was happening in that town so he let martin out of jail and gave him all rights. Later on, Martin gave his famous speech "I had a dream" it was about how he wants his kids to grow up not being judged on their color, but by their personality/ the person they are. Then everything worked out eventually and it ended but later on Martin died and got assassinated by " James Earl Ray " who I BELIEVE died in jail later on from kidney problems I believe. If you want to learn more there is a educational movie that I've seen a couple years back called "My friend Martin" Or "Our friend Martin". Hope this helps 🙂
