can anyone show me a step by step for this?

Gucchi:

its not my problem i just want something to follow on

Gucchi:

@vocaloid

Vocaloid:

for composite figure areas you generally want to break the shape down into smaller shapes for which you can calculate the area. I see a few ways to split this shape. for ex. you could connect points EB and EC to get triangles ABE, EBC, and ECD, and then simply use area = (1/2)(base)(height) to calculate the area of the three triangles and add them up.

what would the base and height be for EBC

Vocaloid:

triangle EBC would have base EC, which is 6 units long. the height would extend from line EC up to point B, for a total of 2 units in height.
