am i right wit A here?

rocfp:

I think so because look at the key words like ¨rejoicing¨ and ¨glorious freedom.¨

PrincessAdelaide:

I'm thinking it's lonely because it says in the text 'my long, lonely excursions'

OLIVER69:

I do believe A is the correct answer because, in the first phrase, Muir uses words such as botanizing in glorious freedom and bound wealth and strength to express his enjoyment and the way he values nature. And just because it says he's lonely doesn't mean that is the tone of the passage. That just describes the way he feels at first, then he is enthusiastic about the way nature is around him on his journeys.
