AI tells the truth about Christmas

Hero:

The word "Christmas" is not mentioned in the Bible. The Bible does not command us to celebrate Jesus' birth, nor does it mention the date of his birth. The celebration of Christmas is not a biblical commandment, but rather a tradition that has evolved over time. The date of December 25th was not mentioned in the Bible as the day of Jesus's birth. The Bible does mention the birth of Jesus, but not the celebration of it as a holiday.

Alexis1415:

Honestly gives people a lot to think about, I remember that it doesn't speak about Christmas or the date of Jesus' birth, I totally just flew by it, this is a real brain picker, very fascinating honestly.

Renne:

I was indeed aware that christmas was not the birth of Jesus it was just a random date they threw out there but by all means it is still very speacial.

Packgod:

that is the real meaning of christmas

Fries:

nah

Yes but it still brings others together. Just because it clearly has nothing to do what God doesn't mean anything. It still has everything to do with Family.

Christmas is not of God. It's man-made. It serves no godly purpose. That's the real truth.

@hero The Bible does talk about Christmas. It's a pagan holiday and it's true that it's a man-made custom. Especially today, cuz nobody cares about Jesus' birth (he wasn't born I'm December), they only care about gifts and hedonistic materialism.

alanwilcox:

For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. Jeremiah 10:3-6

It’s mentioned. It also actually speaks against it

I was aware of this scripture. I was planning to pull in case I was challenged. For the record though, I never said the Bible didn't talk about Christmas. I simply said the word "Christmas" isn't in there.

notvlad1209:

Christmas is not only to celebrate the presents or birth of Jesus. It is the peace and grace that was given to us through him. (because of his sacrifice on the cross) Jesus was once on this earth as a person, but he will come back as king of kings. Christmas is to celebrate the peace on earth and the chance given to us for eternal life.

They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not."

Santa Claus, Elves, Christmas Trees, and Reindeer are false idols. False idols don't honor Christ. They dishonor him. Go read Jeremiah 10:3-6 again.

Christians don't know the Bible. Point. Blank. Period. You watched a video and what was the source? Christianity most likely. Point to where in the Bible does it says what the video told you. That's the problem. People believe what they hear rather than what the Bible says.

Bro I so agree with you the Bible is the only (KJV) resource to learn about the Truth.

Christmas is an annual holiday that is celebrated on December 25th. The holiday has its origins in Christianity and is traditionally held to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ. The first recorded celebration of Christmas occurred in Rome in the year 336 AD, and the holiday has since spread throughout the world and evolved into a widely celebrated secular holiday. While the religious significance of Christmas remains important to many people, the holiday has become much more than a strictly religious observance. Christmas is now a time of joy, togetherness, and giving, and it is celebrated by people of all backgrounds and faiths. One of the most well-known traditions associated with Christmas is gift-giving. This practice is said to have originated from the story of the Three Wise Men who brought gifts to the newborn Jesus. Today, people exchange gifts with friends and family members as a way to show love and appreciation. Another popular tradition associated with Christmas is the decoration of Christmas trees. The use of evergreen trees as a symbol of life and rebirth dates back to ancient times, and the practice of decorating these trees with ornaments and lights is said to have originated in 16th century Germany. In addition to gift-giving and tree decorating, Christmas is also a time for sharing meals and spending time with loved ones. Many families gather together on Christmas Day to share a festive meal and exchange stories and gifts. Overall, Christmas is a holiday that has deep roots in both religion and culture. While the holiday has evolved over time, it remains a time of joy and togetherness for people all over the world.
