According to the class structure at the time, who is the "true gentleman" in this play? Higgins Pickering Doolittle Freddy

K1NGofPadlet:

It's hard for me to determine which play you're talking about since you didn't mention its denomination. If you could provide me with more details, I could endeavor to avail you preponderant.

ElexusQuimby:

Pygamalion

K1NGofPadlet:

I'd say that each character in Pygmalion possesses their own unique traits, strengths and impuissances which make them stand out in their own right. However, when it comes to being a veridical gentleman, I believe that Pickering embodies the characteristics of an impeccable gent. He's polite, reverent and kens how to conduct himself in any situation. Even though Higgins is the protagonist, his manners and comportment needs an abundance of work afore he can become a veritable gentleman. Doolittle and Freddy, on the other hand, are not even proximate to being gentlemanly, so Pickering is the clear victor in this category.
