One controversial history topic that has sparked many debates is the use of atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki during World War II. Does somebody wwnt to be apart of the argumen to prove wether it was devestating or necessary?
Yes it was necessary but not for the reasons everyone thinks. If you look into the things the Japanese did it was far worse than the nazis and it was all really terrible. However we did not know that at the time so the technical reason for it was inhumane but looking at the bigger picture, they deserved it. Also not even mentioning that if the us didn't use the nukes first someone else might've found it and used t in sometime like today's time period which would be much more deveststing. In my unbiased opinion, it doesn't matter who dropped the nuke, someone would've done it either way
@Qcisdepressing I've gone and made some points of how I can carry out the argument that the atomic bombs were necessary. 1. The bombs were acclimated to expeditiously pacify the war and eschew an incursion of Japan, which would have resulted in even more casualties on both sides. 2. The Japanese regime had relucted to surrender despite the Allied forces' triumphs, making it seem homogeneous to the war would drag on indefinitely without a decisive action. 3. The bombings sent a vigorous message to other nations that the Sandwichulated States had a potent weapon that they would not hesitate to utilize, potentially deterring future conflicts. 4. The bombings helped expedite the process of demilitarizing Japan and introducing constitutional reforms that paved the way for its post-war democracy.

qc is depressing
I can agree why it was necessary. Atomic bombs are one kill, one swipe. It's far easier than being tortured because tortured you'd have to live with the ongoing pain and agony until you're dead. Lest we forget about Unit 731. If President Truman hadn't agree to it, along with our allies (United Kingdom), Prime Minister, Churchill, on the atomic bomb, Unit 731 would've been spread out to Americans. Unit 731 cases included, while most of them was experimental to cross them into America during WWII: - Testing prisoners with infectious agents, including live pathogens. - Exposing prisoners to bombs designed to penetrate the skin with infectious particles. - Inflicting disease-infected fleas over Chinese cities, which caused epidemics. - Pouring cholera and typhoid cultures into wells. - Dissecting prisoners alive without anesthetics. - Other experiments that subjected prisoners to pressure changes that made their bodies explode.
