Spectrum:

Can someone simplify the chemical equations for photosynthesis and cellular respiration? What are the reactants and products? Name them please.

luhivqqcherry:

The products of one process are the reactants of the other.

Spectrum:

I'm saying replace the parts of the equations with what they are called.

Unnecessary talking I meant.

adrianluvvsyouu2:

Photosynthesis 6CO2 + 6H2O + Light → C6H12O6 + 6O2 6 Carbon Dioxide + 6 Water + Light → 6 Glucose + 6 Oxygen Glucose can be polymerized into starch or bonded with each other (glycosidic covalent bonding) to make cellulose, used in plant cell walls Cellular Respiration is the reverse reaction, meaning the reactants become the products, and vice versa (just without the light) C6H12O6 + 6O2 → 6H2O + 6CO2

adrianluvvsyouu2:

In simple terms, reactants in photosynthesis (products in cellular respiration excluding light) are Carbon Dioxide (CO2), Water (H2O), and light energy. Products in photosynthesis (reactants in cellular respiration) are glucose, and oxygen. If you ever get confused, remember plants release oxygen, so you know it must be a product of photosynthesis. Remember cellular respiration is the reverse reaction
