What type of data are represented in the table? Red Yellow Green Blue Violet Ages 10–19 5 10 8 7 13 Ages 20–29 17 2 15 7 3 Univariate categorical Bivariate categorical Univariate numerical Bivariate numerical

Midnight97:

Let's see what I can do

Midnight97:

So you have data that shows two variables that are both non numerical kind of One variable is the color of an item... red yellow green blue etc... and the other is age group... 10-19, 20-29, etc... which do have numbers in them but aren't numerical because you can't go like let's add age group 10-19 to age group 20-29 so you know our variables are not numerical, and therefore they are something called *categorical* and there are two of them... so they're bivariates and so we get *bivariate categorical.*

Phantomdex:

See that's kind of what I thought, but I wasn't sure!

Like I care lol, I am here to help not to be weak

Phantomdex:

PFFF- Well that's an answer if I've ever seen one

Midnight97:

it'll make more sense with more practice for now all you really need to know is that when you have two variables and they're both kind of nonnumerical in nature, it's called *bivariate categorical* I hope this helped

Phantomdex:

It did, thank you.
