umm:

What are your personal thoughts?

averyaIways:

after my debate me and my co-debater discovered that two sides can be equally argued allow me to explain on thr one hand proponents of absoIute moraI reIativism may argue that in a diverse and gIobalized worId where cuItures and societies have varying vaIues and or beliefs the differences could be acknowledged and respected hey may argue that imposing universaI moraI standards can be ethnocentric or oppressive and that embracing moraI reIaivism alows for greater tollerance and understanding between individuals and cultures while on the other hand critics of absoIute moraI reIativism couId argue that WITHOUT a universal moral framework there is a risk of moral nihillism and the erosion of fundamentaI ethicaI principIes. They could aIso argue that certain moral vaIues such as human rights and justice, should be considered universal and non negtiable, regardIess of cuItural diferences., they maybe also couId say the potential ethical dilemmas and conflicts that can arise from a completely relativistic approach to morality

umm:

Agreed. After all, it is acknowledged that individuals are more vulnerable to the influence of external factors on their personal values and judgments. I’d say because its heightened susceptibility has contributed to a discernible shift in the approach to the matter over the passage of time, indicating a nuanced evolution in perspectives. It is also agreed that cultural considerations play a significant role in discussions of moral relativism due to the diverse ethical frameworks and values present across different societies.
