To determine the number of gift boxes that can be wrapped with 2500 square inches of wrapping paper, we calculate the total surface area of each gift box. The gift box dimensions are 4 inches by 10 inches by 13.5 inches. Each gift box requires 458 square inches of wrapping paper (calculated from the dimensions). So, dividing the total wrapping paper area (2500 square inches) by the area needed per box (458 square inches) gives approximately 5.46 boxes. Since you can't wrap half of a box, you can wrap a total of 5 gift boxes with 2500 square inches of wrapping paper. Hence, the answer is 5 boxes.
