Big brain

In my opinion, not very diverse. Games over time have gotten better in including people of color, representing disability and different religions, and (although very little) LGBTQ+ characters. I think the objectification and just borderline sexist portrayal of women in games is still high as always, and it should just.. stop. It's getting boring. Even game companies realize the only way their game will blow up is if they have pretty, picture perfect women.
TL,DR; Pretty diverse. The industry could use some work though on certain aspects. I do like how certain games have a very diverse cast of characters, and I think it makes characters more interesting and the storyline too.
toga:
The video game industry has historically been criticized for a lack of diversity, particularly in terms of both race and gender. However, in recent years, there has been a push for more inclusivity and representation in games. Some game developers have made efforts to create games with diverse protagonists and storylines that reflect a broader range of experiences. Additionally, there are now more women and people of color in positions of power within the industry, which can help to bring new perspectives and voices to game development. While there is still work to be done to make the industry truly diverse, there are positive signs of progress.

I agree. They are doing a much better job than before. However, when it comes to girls being accepted as gamers...that's not doing so hot. I mean, if people hear about girls being gamers they act all shocked and dismiss it as nothing more than a phase while boys get treated completely different. It's just downright shameful to be honest. When it comes to race I will say that the video game industry is trying hard to be inclusive of all races(especially African Americans). When female gender starts to be appreciated in the video game industry as much as male gender, I will be satisfied. I hope I will live to see the day. Until then, I can only hope we will do better as a society.

Actually, no it's not. This question is an inquiry on the video game industry, being that my future career will be a video game designer, after i complete my major in computer science along with a minor in music technology. The nature of the question does not entirely fit into the computer science subject, so it is in misc.Though, the context behind this post was provided in it's the original version, which is why it is still open. Asking people for a "swatch" for free as ur first question is spam, tho. Who would do that tho? You.
