I wanna learn more than that like the north and south Korea

BeautyQueen:

like for example there were three key features that defined the Cold War. Number one was the threat of nuclear war. The reason why is because the big countries had manufactured many nuclear weapons and that was a big use in the war. The second one was the competition over the allegiance (loyalty) of newly independent nations, and so one. Lastly the military and economic support of each other's enemies around the world.

BeautyQueen:

those three were the main components of the cold war.

BeautyQueen:

when pertaining to North and South korea

BeautyQueen:

okay so wha i know is that the the two Koreas engaged in border conflict. Which escalated when North Korea invaded South Korea on June 25. The Korean War was a proxy war for the Cold War. The West so the United Kingdom and the U.S., supported by the United Nations and supported South Korea, while communist China and the Soviet Union supported North Korea.

yaa

Thayes:

Space was an important arena for the Cold War and even led to the creation of NASA. Millions of people were killed in the proxy wars between the US and the USSR during the Cold War. The "hot" parts of the Cold War included the Korean War, the failed Bay of Pigs invasion into Cuba, and the Vietnam War.
