hannahj:

Selfish:

Get good grades those will determine your future.

Selfish:

Keep your head held high. Never look down.

gingy57016:

BeautyQueen:

some tips is try to take advance classes because it boost u GPA , don't be a teachers pet but also don't be disrespectful. Lastly know who you are don't change yourself to fit other peples requirements or expectations they set for you. People come and go in your life they're either a lesson and a blessing, so don't be too hurt wen ppl leave l. Also try to take Ap classes it'll help you in the long run andim telling you Junior year will hut the hardest. Th reason why if you will feel tired and feel like giving up but don't you got this. Also it's your freshman year remember to have fun it's the only year you rlly will be abke to. Oh also don't do drugs and don't vape don't do none otmf that. Some ppl do it as a coping mechanism and others so they fit in and feel apart of the group don't do that it'll hurt u in the long run. Also remember life is like a Rollercoaster with both ups and downs so try to enjoy the ride. You got this I'm rooting for u stay strong 💪😊

1. Try out new clubs and sports. I got more into these in my upperclassmen years but looking back I wish I had started then as an underclassmen. You figure out earlier what you like and what you want to do for the next couple years. Intrigued in that arts club? Want to try that cooking class? Go do it! 2. Have a plan for your academics The next four years of your life and onward will benefit immensely from having a plan. You can meet with an academic counselor at your school and assess your path going forward. This could be testing out AP classes to see if you are an AP level student, or targeting certain curriculum so you have more free classes in your senior year. 3. Watch out who you hangout with Do not befriend the people who make you feel not like yourself. Be confident, be courageous, if you think someone is cool, strike up a conversation. As others have mentioned, peer pressure is a real thing in high school. And who you hangout with *changes* you. Nobody is perfect, but hangout with the best kind of people you want to be around.

Lastly, don't ignore the benefits of studying and being on top of your schoolwork. The habits you do now could shape the trajectory of the rest of high school, college, and onward. I'd highly recommend setting times for homework, study, free time, etc. It's how most successful students do it.

i started out slow but ive gotten better tho

We all start out somewhere. What matters is where we decide to go from there. An upward trajectory is quite good, no matter what.

Extrinix:

Dont put your entire focus on academics, if you're planning on going to college, look for a sport or extracurricular that can give you a large scholarship for being good at it. That'll allow you to have an easier time paying for college, and at the same time you can study what major and minor you want to.

congrates

woah u were in 8th?

There are final exams at the end

My personal tips: Take AP classes IF you know you can do them! For example, if you cannot code video games and it does NOT interest you do NOT take AP Computer Science. Don't take them because you want higher credit, if you do it for this reason, you will lose the interest in doing it overall at some point. Do some sports or after school activates if you can/are interested this can also help make friends (In high school, you don't automatically becomes friends with the whole class, maybe one friend a class or so). Focus on finishing your work before you go out and party with people, it's better to be ahead than behind in summer school. If people ever talk about you, you have two options: One, confront them about it. Two, leave it alone and forget it. Option one: Is good because when you approach them you will make them feel awkward most likely. Option two: Is also good because they're a random little girl/boy who feels the need to talk about you 24/7 ;) Try your best to avoid drama... I had drama my freshman year and my god that was a boring year. Most times people don't expect you to confront them (I personally do) and so when this happens sometimes you may trigger them and get them to start screaming like a newborn! So in this case it's very funny and also they most likely won't even do anything LOL BUT be careful, because some kids are so weak that they don't 1v1 and they bring friends, so always have friends that will fight for you too FIND a lunch buddy. You do NOT want to be alone at lunch, it is boring, and no one wants to be bored for 30 minutes or so. DON'T hang out with bad people at school, you may THINK they're your friends but people should not act a certain way to others, especially if they themselves don't know the other person well enough. Don't skip with friends, friends are loud with laughing and will get caught immediately (Just don't skip class overall, I promise you it's the exact same time except you do nothing but stand still in a stall or something) I hope this helps!🤍
