Aratox:

What is the largest known number to mankind? Cardinal or ordinal numbers will do.

toga:

The largest known number in the universe is called Graham's number, which is a colossal number that is so large, it's practically incomprehensible.

I thought that it was the large Veblen ordinal... \[\phi _{\Omega}\Omega(0)\] or \[\theta(\Omega ^{\Omega})\] or \[\psi(\Omega ^{\Omega ^{\Omega}})\]

Aratox:

Then again, the Feferman-Schütte ordinal exists... \[\Gamma _{0}\]

it depends on whether you think of infinity as a number. in math, infinity isn't considered a number in the usual way, but more like a concept that represents something unlimited, like pi, which has an "infinite" number of decimals. so, if you see infinity as a number, that would be my answer1!!11

Infinity is not a real number - it is just a concept. I'm talking about cardinal and/or ordinal numbers, which have actual value, far beyond most peoples' comprehension.

A cardinal number is a "regular" number, such as 1, 2, 3, etc. An ordinal number starts at ω and goes upwards as such: ω, ω+1, ω+2, etc.

I actually got this one too, since it has larger digits.
