is this a "simple definiton"? "A missense Mutation is a type of point mutation (a point mutation is when a single genome is either deleted, added, or changed) The Missense Mutation only involves one nucleotide but results in an mutated sequence of amino acids during protein synthesis."

IDontKnowAUsername:

You might want to change your wording a bit, because a 'genome' is an organisms entire genetic code. So I think you meant *nucleotide.

thank you!

Jasonisyours:

Another way to say this shorter would be : A missense mutation is a change in a single DNA letter (nucleotide) that causes the wrong amino acid to be added when a protein is made.

Syrnn:

Yeah it's good but it'd be good if it was dumbed down a little bit if possible

DevotedHeart:

A missense mutation happens when one tiny change in the DNA messes up the protein it makes. It’s like a single letter in a sentence being wrong and changing the meaning

blah blah blah
