Should we have different languages for questioncove? Like when you sign up, the user being able to set their prefered language?

I think we need to set language defaults after we sign up.
Glorious:
That's a good idea for sure. I'm sure that there are people in here with English as their second or even third language, so having something where a user can choose their preferred language would be great.
AnnahTheGremlin:
I actually think that would be every useful for other users whom English isn't their strong suit.
kingvox:
may be hard for them to learn to quickly tho
gelphielvr:
i don't think it would work. there's only a minority of people here who speak English as their second language + I doubt that the mods are multilingual geniuses who can translate an entire website to multiple languages

I like that idea, I speak 3 languages so that would be nice to add
0mega:
This would mean getting different trusted users to become apart of staff, that fluently knows said specific language each user chooses. That’ll take a whole lot of time, and isn’t really worth the effort. If QuestionCove was a much bigger site with more active daily users, then, having a feature as such would be pretty awesome! But seeing how mostly everyone speaks English on an American based platform, theres no reason to have to set different languages.
CecePitbull:
That is for sure a good idea but you have to put it mind how long that would take to do, that would probably take even months to update. Most people here speak English but it would help the site grow and I think its a good idea.
fwval:
good idea but small platform
fwval:
wouldnt work

same Ukrainian, English, russian... You?

hell no, we don’t need that. English is the universal language here no need to complicate things with a bunch of different languages. Keep it simple, everyone can just speak English.

English is only the national language in 67 countries + this website is mainly visited by children who might not be fluent in 2 languages
