should abortion be legal or illegal in Oregon? why?

The matter of whether should abortion be legal boils down to your own personal opinion as well as ethical and political beliefs. For myself, I believe that abortion should be considered healthcare with a legitimate reason behind the abortion such as health risk.

Abortion is currently legal in Oregon where the mother can choose to abort at any given state of the pregnancy. Oregon holds the some of the strongest protection for reproductive rights in the U.S.

I strongly believe that decisions about abortion should be left to the individual like everyone is different yk and people should have the right to make choices about their own bodies without government control  Access to safe healthcare is important, and no one should be forced into a situation that could harm them physically, emotionally, or financially. That said, I respect different opinions because this is a deeply personal and complex issue but having the freedom to choose is important so yeah it is legal  ^^

I totally agree with you both I like the idea of abortions but what about the fact that women go in and get abortions like every month like the same women goes in and wants an abortion but she wont stopp getting knocked up? cuz they get knocked up and don't want the baby. what should be done about that

Restrictions on abortion are a possibility although it could lead to discourse from individuals who feel their rights are being reduced or taken away. Medical history should be taken into account which could help prioritize mothers with health risks over people getting an abortion rather than practicing safe sex. Healthcare mustn't be taken away or limited while still focusing on creating a fair and effective healthcare system.

i mean yeah i agree with that but like prevention is the main key here so you know people have the right support and avoid unwanted pregnancies is so important. Birth control, education, and access to healthcare can make a big difference in situations like that so yeah
