A heart's soft sway glides with ease
Like my heart that breaks at tease
Your words like wounds so deep
Never healing and never falling

Staring at my ceiling
Wondering if your calling
Your name echos in my mind like a whisper in the sky
Your hands feel cold like ice and gold
But your gold is rusted and impure
While mine is tainted from yours

I wanna thrive and cry at the same time
But your words stop me like thorns on a rose
Its petals wilt and fall
Like rain when it storms
Or the ocean when it floods
My heart crys out for love
But silence returns like a song
That never made it out

Like hope that fails with time
Why oh why i ask the sky
My hands and knees sore
From sitting on the ground, my body fails i am weak
Weak like a small flame with no light
Or a home with no fight

My eyes wanna close tight
To ignore the fight or flight
My mind rivals my own
Dark thoughts loom like a glow

I wanna smile and I'll learn how
Because hope is there waiting in the clouds
I know because i still smile
Whenever I see people I love around

Never gonna be down
Never gonna stop , never frown
My life can change I just gotta make it.

Amennn. See there's the hope in the writing. I like how your poems always end with confidence and hope. Like it starts of sad and depressed but then as you go on and keep reading, it gets more happy and confident. Good job.
