Sailor:

Is there any effective way of dealing with burnout? I'm unsure of how to deal with it and I daresay it's been affecting my studies in college (unfortunately).

What I do is take some time to engage in free play of my favorite hobbies, which gives me time to alleviate some of the pressure from homework. Soon enough, I'll get right back to what I prioritize, which are my studies.

ngl sailz, I'm always burnout it feels like, but the best advice i could maybe give u is to: 1. take time to do a small breather exercise, It helps with calming you down and helps with brain focus 2. maybe power through it, what i do when i don't feel like doing work, i power through it. meaning i focus only on it and get it done as fast as possible. I hope this helps though i doubt it will because being burnout isn't a good feeling what so ever.

Me and my friends would take at least an hour break away from technology/studying to clear our minds and just talk about different things or spend 30 minutes doing anything that isn't homework related. I normally just use a pomodoro technique so that my brain doesn't get totally fried so I'd study for 1 hour and then take a break for 30 minutes doing fun stuff and the cycle continues. Also don't do what I used to do aha, I would normally ignore my sleep schedule and eating food sometimes so I could study more. I learned that I was hurting myself more, so if you're hungry take a break and eat and then go back to studying. If you're sleepy, take a nap/sleep and then go straight to studying. Sometimes once your brain is fried you can't do more work than you've already put into your brain. That's why I was also forgetting the material T^T... sincerely, your certified overthinker ദ്ദി ˉ͈̀꒳ˉ͈́ )✧
