(Spanish) How do I know If a word is male or female in Spanish? And what do I do with that information

Kaeno:

if it is female then the word should have an "a" at the end of the word and if male either "e" or "o"

what if it doesn't end with either of them?

Kaeno:

lemme give you an example: "Hola soy una chica que puede ayudar con el español, solo pregunta y recibirás"

xXAikoXx:

Spanish feminine words usually end with the letter 'a' such as 'latina' and masculine words end with 'o' and 'e' including the article 'el' such as 'el gato'. Though 'el gato' can be used to identify both male and female cats, it is mainly considered masculine because it contains 'el' and 'o'.

Ferrari:

depends with the ending
