OpenStudy (anna):

4sin2theta=0 what is the value of theta?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

From trig identities, sin(2theta) = 2sin(theta)cos(theta), so 4sin(2theta) = 8sin(theta)cos(theta), which is zero at 0, pi/2, pi, and -pi/2. If the domain is restricted to 0\[\le\]theta\[\le\]pi, then it is just 0 and pi.
