How would I go about finding the domain of f(x)=log(x^2-4)+sqrt(6-2x)?

OpenStudy (shadowfiend):

So first off, what is the domain of the square root? And of log?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

from log(x^2-4)-------x>4 & x<-4 from sqrt(6-2x)-------x<=3 now taking intersection of both x<-4 is the answer
