HOW CAN YOU DRAW F(X-3) ON THE GRID OF F(X)

Hello.
This is done easiest by replacing all X's in f(x) with the expression: (x-3).
Say if you had f(x) = 3x + 2, all you have to do to evaluate for f(x-3) is: f(x-3) = 3(x-3) + 2.
On the graph, f(x-3) will appear shifted three to the right from the normal f(x). Hope this helps.
thanks friend

i was thinking that the graph will be shifted down on y values
If it was f(x)-3, then yes, it would be shifted down the y-axis. However, because it's in parenthesis, (x-3), it's an inside change and the change is seen on the x-axis. ;) It was no problem. Glad I could help.
