evalute limit lim x^2 +2 / X^3 -1 AS X GOES TO NEGATIVE INFINITY

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is 0, because the denominator will be always greater than the numerator, making the value closer to 0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

BUT IS ASKING ME TO DO IT ALGEBRAICALLY DO I DIVIDE EACH TERM BY x^3 THATS WHAT IM TRYING TO FIGURE IT OUT THANK YOU

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well, the only thing you'll take care is X^2/X^3, so by simplifying you get 1/X, and when you apply the infinite value, you'll get 1 divided by a big number, which will make it closer to the 0 value.

does that helps?

YES ;=)
