i need help look at attachment plz!!!!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the 80 degrees is supposed to br in between f and g

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is essentially the same problem. Just with different numbers. What have you tried to solve it?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont know where to start

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What is the arc length for a portion of a circle described by an angle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it 7m?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, in general. If you have a circle with radius r, what is the length of the arc described by the angle Theta?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

johnlajoie, something is not correct with the diagram

OpenStudy (anonymous):

here

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is the rite one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No, that diagram is wrong. It claims there is a D which should give some information about the size of the radius. But it's not shown in the drawing.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

my bad got it now

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So again. Given how is the radius, angle and arclength of a portion of a circle related?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I guess that H, not N. And question 3 should be length of EFG and not FEG

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope its FEG

OpenStudy (anonymous):

they all r requred to solve the problem

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is dat correct?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you tell me how an angle, radius and arclength are related? If you can figure this out (look in your book) it should give you some idea where to start.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can u help me with numbers 1-3 pls step by step??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yes, but first you have to answer my question. I'm certain that this info was covered by your teacher, in your book, and in the previous question you asked about this subject.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Given a radius and an angle(in radians) how do you find the arclength subtended by that angle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the arc length = measure of central angle in radians x radius length

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Correct. And your diagram is still wrong. It doesn't have an H even though the question asks for it, D is not a diameter, and No info is given about how H relates to the other points.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

this is the last thing it could be
