is D supposed to be H ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

YEA

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and is 7m the radius?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i think so yea

OpenStudy (anonymous):

then you can find any arc length by multiplying the angle in terms of radians by the radius

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so your angle EHG is 160 degrees, in radians that is 160/180 which is 8/9ths of a radia. multiply 8/9ths by your radius and you get 56/9 m

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so now we divide 23 by 9? or is dat the answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i do not understand where 23 came from, but if your teacher or professor wants it as simplified as possible then yes divide it, but otherwise 56/9 m(eters?) should be your answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

divide "it" = the 56/9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the measure of the arc is 160 (because the angles are congruent so 80+80=160) and the way of finding arc length is above
