4^2x=11
Now try logarithmic algebra
2xln4 = ln 11
that doesn't work actually... I'm not sure you can multiply 8 by 1/2 to begin with, and I'm not sure how you got 11 on the other side of the equation. What I get is more like 8^2x = 14 and then you solve with logs

It is difficult to type math so I don't know what is meant by 1/2 8
The equation is written like 1/2 should by multiplied by 8. the class teacher tells us to multiply by 2 in this instance on both sides to get rid of the fraction. I just wasn't sure how to bring the exponent down.
That 11 should have been 7 .... 9-2
