r^2[4-(pi/2)] look bc=ab=2r right area of sqare=ab*bc=2r*2r=4r^2 area of half circle=(pi*r^2)/2 shaded area = area of sqare-area of half circle =>(4r^2)-(pi*r^2)/2 therefore answer :r^2[4-(pi/2)]
did zat help?
[(2r)^2]-[(r^2*pi)/2] You have to subtract area of the half circle from area of the square.
thank u reza.
