y = (x-3)^2 +3 and the problem says give the domain and range of the relation.. how is this done? help is very welcome. thanks!

the domain is such values of independent variable (X) for which the relation does not become indefinite. so here domain is the set of all real nos. range is defined by the set that a function can take for its range and it is clear that y is always greater than 3 for all x. so the domain is all real nos greater than 3.
how did you reach that conclusion by looking at the equation? is there some kind of formula? how is it clear that y is always greater than 3.. because of the +3? sorry... im having a hard time understanding this
