Membrane-bound organelles are such organelles that has an outer covering. Examples include Mitochondria, nucleus etc.
The meaning of this term is explicit in its namesake itself. They are membrane bound. Which means that they will be outlined by a membrane, similar but not identical to the double layered cell membrane. Nucleus has its own nuclear membrane which makes it one of them. Endoplasmic reticulum is made up of folding of the nuclear membrane on to itself like stacks, so endoplasmic reticulum is also one of them. Mitochondria are outlined with a double layered membrane so they are also membrane bound.
ITS BASICALLY AND SIMPLY THE COMPONENTS OF ONE CELL IN THE BODY
Membrane bound organelles are found in eukaryotes(animals and plants)[exception is ribosome]. They are highly organized to perform definite functions. Examples are same as mentioned above.... Nucleus, Mitochondria, endoplasmic Reticulum, golgibodies , Ribosome, vaccoules, etc...... Nucleus contain DNA, the genetic material folded as chromatin, Mitochoria functions as energy generator, ER-helps in protein synthesis, GB-help in packing and secretion of protein etc........
