well you can only get 4 complete groups but with only the boys you can get 9 groups and girls 4

So from 18 males you choose 2, and from 12 females you choose 3 \[\implies {18 \choose 2}\cdot{12 \choose 3} = 153 \cdot 220 = 33660 \text{ different ways}\]
