Are you familiar with differentiation?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
no
OpenStudy (anonymous):
there must be a way that you can tell without graphing just by looking at the func do u know any?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yes, you need to know the min/max of the sine function
So you?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
that is do you? :)

is one and -1
OpenStudy (anonymous):
for sine
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yes, for sinx
OpenStudy (anonymous):
but how can i find for this fcn? is it max 6 and min -6?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
what do you need to know? Where it has max/min, or what is the max/min?

what is the max and min because it has max and min it is a logaritmic fcn
OpenStudy (anonymous):
we know the amplitude that is 2 but how does it help?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
than you need to know where does sinx has min/max
OpenStudy (anonymous):
than you can compare, so do you know or not?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
sorry i need to know the max and min value of y ;)

that is just -2, 2
OpenStudy (anonymous):
no it is not that
OpenStudy (anonymous):
or the +4 is outside than 2, 6
OpenStudy (anonymous):
max 6 and min -2?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
No. Min 2 max 6
As sinx goes from -1 to 1
-2sinx goes from -2 to 2
and you add 4 for all values so min: -2+4=2
max:2+4=6
