hey all can anybody tell me whats a worm hole in astronomy

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its a pathway or a bridge connecting two different regions in spacetime

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just do a google search on Einstein-Rosen Bridge theory.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A wormhole is a theoretical anomaly where space-time is warped in such a way that it creates a link to another point in space allowing the subject to 'instantly' travel between the two places.

I just passed through one. Now I'm headed to baggage claim. I need a nap.

wormholes are anomalies in time. let me say an example. when we look at a 'plane' surface we feel it as a 2d thing. however with high magnification the projections and holes on the surface can be seen.just like that time also has anomalies we cannot 'see' at normal energy levels. at higher energy levels wormholes which are large enough can be used for time travel.
