what is the slope of (-x^2+1)^(1/2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry y=(-x^2+1)^(1/2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it's x / ((1-x^2)^(1/2))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that's the slope? is x part of the slope because its a square?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if you learned derivative, you will know the slope will be a constant only if the equation is linear.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats what I thought unfortunately it doesnt help with the problem then
