Decide whether the statement is always, sometimes, or never true. A trapezoid is isosceles.

OpenStudy (mattfeury):

"isosceles" is only used to describe a triangle (to my knowledge) that has two sides equal. a trapezoid has four sides. this seems never true.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This is sometimes true, when the pair of non-parallel sides are of equal length.

OpenStudy (mattfeury):

ah apparently more than just a triangle can be isosceles. what a fool I am... medals for you.
