please explain to me about coordinates(form 2 only)..please help me..

I don't know what form 2 means but here goes: Imagine you are standing in a very large empty field and looking toward the North pole. You can take steps North South East and West and let's say each step is of length 1. So if you go 1 step East and 1 step North we can say you are at (1 East,1 North) Or if instead you go 2 steps West and 1 North you are at (2 West, 1 North). We can call your starting point (0,0). Obviously you can reach any point by taking some number of steps in a direction and another number of steps in some other direction. Now instead of saying North and East we will just say that those are positive (+) directions and we will always put the number for East steps first. So (2,1) means 2 steps East and 1 North starting at (0,0). The same thing for South and West except we will say that those are negative (-) directions and we will put the number of steps West first. So (-2,-1) means 2 steps South and 1 step West. Now imagine it's all on an imaginary flat plane without end rather than on a field and we call the direction going East the x-direction and the direction going North the y-direction and we call West the negative x-direction and South the negative-y direction. So (1,-3) means 1 step in the x-direction and 3 steps in the negative-y direction. (1,-3) is called the co-ordinates of that point, (0,0) is usually called the origin. If that made any sense then what does (-7,2) mean?

you know "points","straight line","circle"; actually we want to give a name to a point in a plane.means by seeing that name i can cofidently find exact point. (5,2) means it is a name of a particular point(surely it will be only one) which you plot in x-y coordinate plane. it is nothing but point naming system..but the frame with respect to which we are naming is your choice.the same point has different co-ordinate if you will displace the x and y axis. in 2-dimensional plane we can represent a point in two ways ;- (1) using cartesian coordinate system and (2) polar coordinate system... do you still have confusion ?
