An ellipsis (...)
...
A dash actually indicates more information to come. An ellipsis is used usually to indicate that you're leaving out a part of a quote or other source. Parentheses or commas can also serve the same purpose, if used to insert an adjective clause.
hi! yes ellipses. used commonly to pertain to information later adde by the writer...but in literature, these may also mean that you are out of words or just want to leave the other unimportant parts of a sentence/ paragraph especially when you are having a direct quotation.
